Barbara Leeds
A young woman
Sharp clothes
Confident strides
Perfect honey hair
Radiant
How does she do that?
Pandemic!
Beauty salons, clothing stores
Just about everything
Closed
For months
How is she unaffected?
My own hair
White, wiry, wild
Uneven clumps at odd angles
Where I cut it myself
So I can see
My outfit a faded T-shirt and saggy shorts
My only fashion concern:
Which worn-out mask to wear
